So when push came to shove, I didn't finish nano. After I 'injured' my hand, which was sore for a few days, I never really got back into the swing of writing again.

But that being said, I did write 40k altogether so it wasn't a lost cause. I wrote two stories, one which started to annoyed me a few chapters in so I scraped that and went for a better plotline in which I'm really enjoying. I think I have about seven chapters written, but in my plotline covers a period of 8 weeks in great detail and then is vague for the next few months, I am only a week and a half in.

And unlike all the other stories, this one I'm not posting anywhere until I get it done. I'm unsure if I'm putting it in FP or the Write Away, but I can decide that later. I'm gonna experiment and make it interactive, but more on that later.

The plot is still underwraps as well, but my character names are Riley Evans and Pete Mitchell. And the title as of right now is The Art of Losing.

And that's all you'll get from me now.

ps...I hate being sick

My hand is feeling tingly... I either slept on it wrong and pinched a nerve or something or I had a strong feeling that it was from all the typing....damn

Ugh. I did something really really bad.

I started a new story. Oops?

And this was after I was already about 20k into the one I was doing for Nano that I've been writing about here. I just got stuck, and like I always do, another idea popped into my head and I started developing it.

I 've been thinking about it and I think I have a problem with staying on one task for an extended period of time. I enjoy multitasking and I am pretty good at it. The field that I studied in college required multitasking so I got used to the pace, so when I need to focus solely on one thing at a time, I start to struggle and my mind becomes blank.

So because of this, I got stuck with EPGP, started to re-read some of it, hated it, and thus wanted nothing to do with it. I'll probably continue on with it so have no fear, but I like this new story as well. The plot for the most part is developed and I just wrote the first chapter and I think it came out pretty decent. It focuses around sports again, but I picked a new one that I know not many people cover. And until I figure out what I am going to do with this story and if I'll pursue it, I'm going to keep the contents under wrap.

However, by the time Nano is done, I am determine to have some type of story. Which story is yet to be decided.

Good news? I'm at 25k between the two! Correction...40k

Alright, so I'm going to be a few minutes off this week. Blame the nice weather that we had today.

Once again, not much has changed but I promise you that it will not be the case next week. For the first time ever, I am not going back to school this year, so I'm gonna attempt to kick my ass into gear. I'll let you know how that works.

Sadly, everything that I stated in my last update still holds true to today. I've been extremely lazy with everything this week. I'm backlogged on reading, have yet to reply to emails/reviews/PMs, and I haven't written a word.

Hopefully that will change. I'm exporting video right now which will take forever so maybe I'll fix up the next chapter of Just There and get it posted.

Hey everyone!

FIrst of all, I want to say congrats to everyone over at SKoW. They just announced the winners for round 8 so if you haven't already, you should wander over there and check it out (http://skow.byethost18.com/win.php?current).

I don't participate in SKoW that often, but I think it's great for what they have been able to accomplish and all the sites that have developed because of them. I believe Off the Ice once won Best Cliche a few years ago, but of course that was the old version, so hopefully the new one will be up to par.

Second, while I'm plugging websites, I'm going to direct you guys also over to Monster Reviews (http://www.monsterreviews.webs.com/) where they are reviewing FP stories left and right. The site is run by Terra who is an awesome girl and she deserves a lot of credit.

Third: I know this is probably going to sound horrible and egotistical and I know that everyone has been there but I'm a little disappointed with how little attention OTI got. And I know most of it is my fault for totally changing the story halfway through and then making people wait basically a year before I pushed forward with it, but I was really looking forward to hearing what people thought of the news changes, but I got nothing. Although, the only good thing that came out from it was that it made me realize the importance of reviewing. Usually I remain fairly quiet on FP and rarely do I review but I decided to change that. I read two stories yesterday and left CC on both of them. I was proud of myself!! (Go Alex!!)

Alright, since I have nothing really to blabber on about, I guess I should get down to the main reason of the Thursday updates.
